@savingamygives focuses on addressing the internal issues to end the cycle of homelessness. 💙🚙🚀🏠

Saving Amy provides community and resources so that our families create a life that is fulfilling and life changing. Most importantly, Saving Amy is about relationship. The Journey Partners walk side by side with the families and build relationships based on trust and genuine care. Families then begin to see themselves as worthy and deserving people in society that no longer need the system to support them. They come off government assistance and support themselves on their own. Saving Amy helps families move forward with a realization that they will never be back on the street or in a homeless shelter again. In turn, the families help to support others who are on the path they have traveled, from a life that felt hopeless and out of control to an empowered life lived with dignity and hope. 🌟

Meet Aisha Bennett, the creator of N’Ice Creme Butters, Creme Whipped Sugars & Scrubs @nicecremebutterz She started her plant based skincare with the goal of creating a plant based moisturizer that would be beneficial for your skin, without the use of parabens or alcohol. 🌱Aisha’s healthy skincare line includes, Whipped Sugar Body & Lip Scrubs, Bubbling Bath Salts, Beard Oil, and of course Whipped Body Butter for women, men, and kids. N’Ice Creme Butters is a locally owned and operated small business based out of Chandler, AZ where Aisha has lived with her “pre-adult” son for the past 10 years.

“My son and I moved to Phoenix from Dayton, Ohio in 2005, in search of a different environment. While I didn’t have a problem becoming gainfully employed, and even moved up the corporate ladder, I still felt the need to feed my creative spirit.” Her dream of owning a creatively made business became a reality in October 2018, when N’Ice Creme Butters was born. “I had no idea my creative appetite would manifest itself into a full blown skincare business, I’m so glad it did and I’m enjoying every creative moment!”

@savingamygives assists families throughout Arizona, with the majority residing in Phoenix and surrounding areas. 🌵

The maximum stay in the homeless shelter is 120 days with an average of 70 days. Current government housing programs, such as Rapid Rehousing, focus on the external issue of securing housing quickly. While housing is extremely important, internal issues need to be addressed or the cycle of homelessness repeats. Enter Saving Amy! 🤍

We are thrilled to share the whimsical creations of Tracey Elsie from @itspoppikosh ❤️

Raised in Clearwater, Florida, Tracey says she’s always had a passion for creating. She found an outlet for her artistic endeavors by working with children while studying elementary education in college. After starting her own family, she became very interested in sewing and making clothing for her daughter. “I began to experiment with interesting fabrics, new designs, and adorable lace, bows, and frills that gave my creations a unique touch.” Tracey shines when she says her daughter, now 20 & off at college, is her biggest blessing and inspiration! With her momma duties lightening, Tracey finds herself returning to her creative passion of sewing and crafting beautiful, one-of-a-kind dresses. “I put my heart and soul into every piece I make and I hope to bring joy to others through the clothing I create!” 🧵

Amazingly, no two of her dreamy dresses are alike. 👗Each is created with the highest quality fabrics and unique embellishments that Tracey’s gathered on her travels, discovered while treasure hunting and curated through personal relationships with incredibly talented artisans.

Saving Amy was founded with a mission to empower individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness by transforming lives through mentoring, teaching life skills, educational advancement, and financial stability through employment. 👫👫

Saving Amy focuses on addressing the internal issues to end the cycle of homelessness. Each family has a Journey Partner Mentor that provides encouragement, guidance and accountability. Saving Amy helps over 100 people annually and the number continues to grow. Our community is made up of people of all ages, who are racially diverse, all creeds and all economic levels. 🌎

The Saving Amy community knows how important it is to help foster continued healing, connect to resources, teach life skills, and nurture inner transformation. Through love and compassion we provide a supportive community that provides hope and encouragement. Every person deserves a place, the dream of a better life, self-worth and dignity. Saving Amy strives to create such a place.🌟
